let me just quickly tell you my set up: it's been a long, ten-hour day of writing about racial inequalities within education for my degree. and guess what? i've only written 550 words. oh the joys of reference-hunting. i'm tired, i'm exhausted, i have a headache. i need to destress. i am here, with my hot chocolate. whipped cream on top with a few (ok... maybe a few handfuls) mini marshmallows with a christmas tv series on netflix on my ipad next to me. and i am here, writing. about your lair. and i CANNOT be anymore excited. so without further ado, here we go.

i adore your dragon avatar. the lil hat is just melting my heart and i already feel excited to review your lair! quite interesting you don't have a forum vista, but i guess it isn't everyone's cuppa. and i won't lie to you, i have absolutely zero clue what your broadcast message is saying. i've even tried looking it up and finding nothing. please, tell me what it means. i am so tired of researching stuff. please hand me the answer on a plate because i'm so intrigued lol.

i love how welcoming your first line is for your clan information! greetings! i hope you're having a pleasant morning / day / evening. this small, simple sentence just makes you seem like such an approachable person, so kind and caring. i honestly admire the fact that you are an exalting lair. because i have always tried, and i buy 5/7g dergs all the time in the aims to exalt and i just can't. i can't do it. so major kudo's to you for actually being able to bloody do it. and honestly, no judgment on the whole dragons theme songs thing. it is something that cannot be taken lightly. and i am so excited to read your lore thread; i have opened it up in a tab ready and i will read it right after reviewing your clan profile. i find it so cool you are apart of a designer club for dragon apparel! if i was rich enough and not a hatchery that was constantly sending dragons out for breeding, i would 100% hit you up. maybe i'll get you to come up with some ideas for my permanently residing lads.

it's very good you have your wishlist in your clan profile. some people have it in their dragon bios, but being a lore lair, it makes more sense it is in your bio. it is there for anyons easy grabbing and i can imagine it is easier for yourself to get a quick glance at it whenever needed. and it is so cool that you are italian! i love italy, i went to rome a few years ago and i really want to travel. my degree is criminology and one of my lecturers lived in italy for eight years to study the mafia for her PhD and i gotta tell ya, she sold it to me. not the mafia part, but the country. it looks so gorgeous, i can imagine there are more beautiful parts than rome. i really want to go venice! anyways, back on track. this is a review about your lair, not italy lmao. i am one-hundred percent going to make the assumption that your lore may be latin based? or you just go off of latin theme because you're italian and all that jazz. either way, i do know your broadcast message is latin, so that is why i threw my two cents in there. based on your lore description, i am assuming it is heavily guardian dragon based, and i'm excited to read into three of them!

moving onto your lore thread: wow! saying weeping willow just reminds me of harry potter, but i'll push that to the back of my mind! it's funny, because you haven't gone incredibly indepth like some lores, but the imagery is that strong you can easily imagine yourself doing the exact thing that your lore's perspective is giving us (if that makes sense lol). it is a very grasping story, and the last line leaves you hooked, i just want to read more and i'm actually sad seeing some of it is a wip. HOWEVER, i am excited, as i can move onto reviewing your dragons, and from what i've seen of you so far, i know i won't be disappointed!

Lixiss

first page, first dragon that caught my eye. maybe it is because she is who i saw on your lore thread, or maybe it's because she is genuinely beautiful, i just know i had to review her! she deserves some love and appreciation. guardian's are not my top four, but i do like them as a breed. guardian over a mirror or a fae any day please !! i'm not quite sure what her name means (latin by any chance ??) but it is very gorgeous and reminds me of an ellipsis but i think that's just because i studied english language and literature for two years for my a-levels (boring, i know). her own little broadcast message is very heartwarming, and i think it can relate to everyone. each person has that one person or animal or item where they feel such an overwhelming amount of love for that everything they do is for them. it is such a deep and meaningful quote and to be honest, based on what i know of lixiss being the story teller and what not, it suits her. i absolutely adore that her familiar, baikala, which i KNOW is a lake, matches her appearance. or, her appearance matches the familiar. to say she is a first gen, her colours are beautiful! you got real lucky with them. i really am not a fan of the peacock gene, like it really irks me. HOWEVER, it really blends in lovely with the apparel to the point where i don't really despise it. the will o' the wisp really reinforce the glow on the familiar, and reflecting the imagery of the glowing mushrooms on the weeping willow. i also adore her skin. i'm not a fan of too many guardian skins, i'm not sure why, but you do have one that i really like! the glow from it is subtle, not too overwhelming but slightly noticeable to blend with the will o' wisp. i also like the addition of the dusky rose thorn tangle pieces, because, of course, the tree imagery! her theme song is interesting and i did actually pause my netflix watching to listen to it while reading her profile. it really sets the scene! it is sad that she has been pushed as the 'loner', but if being a loner means you have a bad ass theme song, then so be it!

Osiris

okay, so i am a lover of skydancers. my own lair / hatchery is coatl and skydancer based, and they are definitely my favourite dragon breed going on the site. so, seeing this dude on your second page, i could not not review him, could i? now, i'm not one for mythology or knowing about gods, but i am pretty sure osiris is a god ?? was a god ?? i'm not sure how to write that sentence for it to be grammatically correct but i'm going to roll with it. i did a quick search and yes, a god of ancient egypt. you have no idea how proud i am for kind of knowing that hahaha. at this point, that broadcast message is an entire mood. i feel like my thought process throughout each and everyday is just "..." and that is it. his familiar does not exactly match his appearance, but that does not mean it's necessarily bad; it offers a nice contrast amongst all the dark alongside a few colours that really make the colours on osiris pop (the cyan, the arcane eyes, etc). that skin though is stunning! i love the idea of clouds and smoke, maybe it's because my favourite mornings are filled with fog and my favourite weather is a thunderstorm. the blue is proper lightning-like, and really reinforces the theme you are going with of 'shadows' and spooky eeriness. and again, it reinforces the imagery of the glowing aspects to the willow tree that lixiss introduces us to. now, i hate the black currant plumed apparel set for the simple fact i have never seen it used well. it always looks out of place and, the word i'm not looking for is cringey but similar to it. HOWEVERRRR, as you have managed to do with what seems all your dragons, have pulled it off amazing. maybe it is the skin that is helping it, but it seems to really match the whole theme and blends in super will and not looking out of place. it definitely reminds me of a raven (the bird)! i adore the fact he is known as 'the black swan', and i have of course thrown his theme song on. i was half expecting a my chemical romance song, but BTS, we roll with it! can't say i'm a major fan of the group, but i recall reading on your profile that you are and fair enough! and i can't lie, i didn't actually listen to it while reading the profile because i was so mesmerised by the dancing, like what. how are people so talented. anyways; the fact you have placed him as a dancer in your lore is such a unique idea. i can't say i've read a lore where a dragon is a dancer, so it makes a nice change to read! the description of the witch falling in love had me enhanced and to be honest, it is quite heart warming. love is out there for everyone, even a pixel dragon. the fact you think his lore needs to be rewritten is sad, as the last paragraph is so beautiful and poetic! i feel rather sympathetic for him.

Conquest

ok i honestly feel bad that i haven't ventured out of the first two tabs but to be honest, the description of your "coordinates path" tab had me hooked and i felt like i just had to review a dragon on the page, no matter which one? but i was more drawn to this gal, because who wouldn't be. wildclaws are neutral with me, i don't like nor dislike them. they are there in the middle. which isn't bad. her name is interesting, i would never associate that specific word for a name but i'll roll with it! looking at the description of the second tab, and her broadcasting message, and a quick glance at her appearance i am going with that she is some type of warrior, ninja, or a knight. the three random guesses where if i am wrong i will be annoyed because i have a 33.3% chance of being right which is still relatively quite high. i've never actually seen the sanguine multimist and it is quite possibly one of the weirdest, but most delicate looking familiars that i have seen before. the reds really bring out the rose flowers you have put on conquest and it is simply stunning. now, i am a sucker for an XXX dragon. my entire hatchery is XXX and i would not have it any other way. especially white?? white XXX dragons are simply stunning as they are so elegant. i just want to say i adore the entire thorn theme you continuously go with. whether conquest is meant to reinforce the imagery of the lore's willow tree introduction or not, it really makes her entire appearance. the fact they are rose thorn tangles makes it even better, and to be honest, i feel as though the dress up would be quite boring without the rose additions. the iron filigree breast plate being red really reinforces the beauty of the roses (yes i am obsessed with them and never will i not refer to them) and the filigree rapier has me not wanting to mess with her in the slightest. the theme song is interesting and very bad-assy, like, genuinely reminds me of the game halo when i used to play it with my brother in like 2012. but of course it is attack on titans lol. and oh my god stop it, she's a ghost ?! that is fascinating and a complete plot twist that i just was not expecting ?? oh my god i am in live with her. her artwork that you have made is absolutely STUNNING and the theme song i feel really represents the anger of her being a forgotten queen of the past. i adore her and i must say, she is my favourite of the three.

i think it is fair to say you really captured me. this is the most i have written for any lore / lair and i do not regret it because you are such a captivating writer, i wish i had your creativity for both dress ups and lore. simply stunning and i feel like i have no more words to express without continuously repeating myself. i love this (and conquest, especially conquest).
