TsarinaTorment

helllllloooooooooooo world! i'm so so sorry for how long it has taken for me to get this review out to you; i've been so busy with university assignments and doing retail work and my mom came to visit me for a few days that i never got the chance to properly sit down and write. but here i am! and i tell you what, from the second you posted on my thread i had an inkling that this was going to be a fun review, so i hope it is! my inkling's are usually correct so here's to hoping, 'ey?

you briefly mentioned having two clans, so i will most likely review one dragon from each clan, and then one fandragon since you mentioned them! but, then again, we shall see because it does all depend on which ones catch my eye, right?

i really like your username! not gonna lie, i feel like it's a bit of a tongue twister. i feel like i would struggle trying to say it out loud, and i'm not going to embarrass myself in an empty room even trying to lol. i looove that you matched your forum vista to your dragon avatar! when some people don't i get irked, but i think that's because i like to try and be as organized as much as i can and being colour-coordinated in some sense is a part of that (although, people that like a colour too much in real life, now THAT is irksome. i see someone walking down a street, entire outfit being that wine-colour, that's too much for my poor eyes).

your broadcast message confuses me but i am here for it and i stan what it is saying (or at least, what i think it means, but i'm hoping i'm not being dim). i say this to every lair i come across: kudos to being an exalting lair. like genuinely, kudo's. everytime i've tried because one i fail miserably and it's just awful lol, i end up wasting money on ugly dragons just to keep them. hence why i then became a hatchery (and a lair reviewer apparently). but hello fellow UK person! y'know, out of all these reviews, not one person i have come across is from the UK i don't think? but i always find it weird seeing people from the UK, like wow, other people in this country know about this site. and you're telling me Tsarina is your name ?? get outa here, that's beautiful. that is such a poetic name, i adore it. mine isn't very common but it's not rare, it's Georgia and i always liked it but seeing names like that just make me hate my name lol. also i find it pretty cool your family members play too. my mom thought about joining but she watched me play for 30 minutes and just didn't understand it so she didn't bother. anyways, i'm going off-track now.

so straight away i was nosey and clicked on the link to read more lore and holy-mama, you have gone in with no hesitation, show no mercy sister. this is one of the most in-depth lores i have read, and not gonna lie, it's making a great bedtime story. it is actually giving me children book vibes, but i mean that in a good way. like you are just writing so clearly and full of imagery and i'm really enjoying every read and i feel fully invested.

reading your second lore, Ashfall, I am also invested in this and honestly i could read your writing for days. it pleases me how organised your lair and lore is and i think i'm in love with you for it. it's a very interesting lore, being based on a steamtrain and all, but it is fair to say it is definitely unique.

i love your lores, and i knew my inkling was right in the first place. i cannot wait to start reviewing your dragons! now here's a couple things i'm going to point out: i write as i go from top to bottom. i start at the name and work the way down. i like to make guesses and assumptions, and there have been times where i've misgendered a dragon but i hate seeing spoilers so if i end up doing that, my apologies! also, i like to have my images of dragons going left right left right, but i have to have the dragons facing the text, so if i have to flip one then apologies in advance for how weird it looks! if i don't have to flip an image or you don't have LGBTQ+ dragons, disregard this lol.

Yashoku

okay, so this little beauty caught my eye right away. i think it's a mix of things: her apparel, her being a coatl, or her name. the name really intrigued me so i had to look it up, and i'm honestly fascinated lol. so apparently, her name means supper? (i call it tea haha). it's very unique and she's only one of four dragons on the site with the name, so kudo's to you for thinking of it! you have so many level 25 dragons and i'm honestly in awe, and if you train them yourself then bloody hell you're brilliant (i am assuming you do since you provide a levelling service). i've hit level 20 for one of my dragons that i'm going to sell once she hits level 25 and... i've lost all motivation. so, yes, good job. her drop is absolutely beautiful, i bet it was so expensive. is it bad that's always my first thought to dragon dress ups? if it weren't for the expenses of some items (ironically the prettiest items), all mine would be dressed up! the runes are absolutely beautiful; i normally dislike runes on XXY/XYZ dragons, i prefer it on XXX so it blends nicely. however, the way the runes offer a nice, subtle contrast amongst the rest of the genes and blends beautifully with the apparel, i really like it. the twilight oracle guise is quite dark compared to the other colours, but that does not necessarily mean it is bad, and in fact the roman numerals on it really compliment the runes gene. her shackles are an interesting addition, so i looked at your wiki site and it actually has captivated me! i really want to know if she did escape or not lol, but her entire appearance makes total sense! i have my familiars match colours with the dragon, so i'm always surprised to see when they don't in other lores, especially for a high clan member such as Yashoku, but it is a fascinating choice and makes sense why you chose it! ok honestly, moving onto the bio, i obviously was looking at the wrong source for what the name meant. how could i find one that said it meant supper when instead it means shades of night LMAOOO i'm crying at myself that's proper embarrassing that is. i'm sad to see her lore hasn't been completed, but i can already tell it will be interesting! i am interested at her list of companions, and they all make a suited match! her art is BEAUTIFUL, i'm actually in awe of each one. i think i am in most love with Aeimberdini's, that is so detailed and gorgeous and it's amazing you found art like it!

Klinge

ok, so moving onto your next clan. i love spirals so much, before becoming a skydancer and coatl hatchery, my previous hatchery was a spiral one. they are so cute and i honestly think they're so underrated! and i love his name! i don't quite know the meaning, maybe you chose it just because you like it, but i will be damned if embarrass myself trying to guess it again. now, all his genes are a bit wild. these colours are so exotic, i was lowkey expecting him to be a gen one ahaha. now his hat, is fabulous. and is definitely giving me polar express vibes. his entire appearance is just this guy:

and i am not against it. you have managed to work really well with his colours to be honest, i struggle with XXX dress ups so it's amazing you did it on an XYZ! i can never work the aerborne halo quite well, so you have done magnificent with it! now, that skin is beautiful! it really draws out the orange gene colour and jaguar gene, with just enough lavender to peer through to offer a nice contrast between the orange and green hues. the mistral minion familiar i adore! i'm not a familiar fanatic, so i can't say i've ever seen that one before, but compliments the rest of the appearance perfectly! i never add a vista to the dragon profiles, and never normally acknowledge it, but it did grab my attention this time round on your dragons profile and i love it so much! it makes me so happy knowing now that klinge is the driver of the train, it really really only encourages my idea that he is that dude from polar express. with his entire appearance, it makes sense he is so adventurous and outgoing! a very exquisite dragon, and that art is so beautiful. i'm pretty sure i have ordered a couple from RaiStarDragon in the past, they are one of my favourites with their cute stitch designs! i really like this guy, and i'm glad i chose him for the Ashfall express!

Gordon

moving onward to your fandragons! now, i can't say i knew who any of them were, but i'm not very out there with comics, films, tv series, etc. unless it is your cliche Friends or Gilmore Girls episodes. out of all your fandragons, i think Gordon caught my attention the most fir the simple fact he is reminding me of the swedish flag. or freddy, from scooby doo, but clearly it is not him because his name is (believe it or not) not freddy. i do love his dress up!! warmwater wanderers is one of my favourite apparel pieces, and i used to hoard them and never use them simply for the fact i love it that much lol. ironically, i don't see it on very many dragons so it always makes me happy seeing it being used, and i cannot wait to see the connection between his appearance and who he is made after! the lionfish gene IRKS me, but i will let you off because you have an entire aquarium theme going on here and how can anyone actually diss that, it's beautiful! i am not even annoyed that the fairy octopus familiar does not colour coordinate with gordon's appearance, because it simply follows the aquatic theme you have going on. i've never seen this theme before and it's beautiful. i honestly cannot compare gordon to the character in thunderbirds are go, however, i love the description of him! you seem to be a very skilled writer; you have managed to captivate me in all your pieces so far and you definitely did not fail with this dude.

i am so sorry for how long this has taken to get out to you! i've been the busiest bee but i'm so glad i had the time to sit down and read your lore thoroughly. it is absolutely stunning, and again, you are such a fascinating writer, you really capture everything with such imagery that it is hard to not be enticed to keep on reading. i'm sad that yashoku does not have a long, lengthy lore yet, however, i'm still glad i chose her to review because she is stunning. i must admit, klinge is my favourite for the simple fact i see a resemblence with him and the train driver from polar express, and reading gordon's description has me wanting to watch thunderbirds are go.
